My love of languages took hold when I started learning Welsh in primary school and grasping the difficulties of Welsh pronunciation! This then led me to become incredibly passionate about French and later Spanish and German and the travel bug then started.

 

I have lived and travelled in France, Spain and Latin America during my time at university to help both perfect my knowledge and understanding of the language yet also to ignite my love of Hispanic and French culture! I have taught from primary right through to A Level in a range of top secondary schools in the UK and in a prestigious international school in Malaysia for two years as Head of Spanish.

With over 18 years' experience teaching the AQA, Pearson Edexcel and CIE iGCSE specifications I am an experienced teacher of Spanish, French and German. For the past 3 years I have been tutoring, I have really enjoyed helping people to overcome difficulties, building confidence in abilities and ensuring goals and/or academic success is met.  Tuition can be a fabulous option for neurodiverse students when a typical class setting can cause a huge amount of anxiety. I work with a range of home ed students who have an exceptional talent but are just not suited to the classic classroom environment. Tuition helps build confidence so you can really thrive.
