I didn’t realise the difference tuition can make until I became a tutor myself. Learning in a class of sometimes 30+ students can seem so impersonal. 1-1 sessions mean the lessons can be tailored to suit individual needs and requirements meaning a student can really thrive and build confidence without being too scared to ask for clarification.
One to one sessions
Bespoke sessions to suit you or your child’s needs specifically. I have a wealth of experience teaching both GCSE and A Level specifications with excellent results. The beauty of 1:1 tuition is the opportunity to really hone exam techniques and build confidence for the speaking exam. The specifics of the sessions can vary according to individual needs. This ranges from trying to get to a certain level to communicate for business or fun to trying to reach a certain exam grade.
Groups
For up to a maximum of 6 per group. Tutees to be at the same level but they could be siblings, friends or class mates. A more cost-effective option and students can bounce off each other’s enthusiasm! Small group sessions can also help boost specific skills. The GCSE or A Level Masterclass sessions are perfect for practising speaking, listening, reading or writing and really understanding how to get top grades in the GCSE or A Level exams.
